It has been a year of transormation at Bathurst Goldfields, new tours, massive refurbishments all round and an amazing new team.
Our new owners have been hands-on in the transformation and the next phase is now being rolled out with a school holiday care program set to commence from 11th April.
Bathurst Goldfields identified a need in the local community for something a little different and of course fun for the kids to do while their parents are required to work throughout the school holidays. From this, our staff came together (many of us working parents as well!) to brainstorm activities and programs which can utilise as much of our facility as possible.
We will be offering cooking classes “Masterchef style” with our talented chef, there will be workshops outside among the goldfields where the children will be able to get hands on and learn a thing or two about our rich history with our Tour Guides, like cooking damper, making mudbricks and panning for gold! There will be arts and crafts, ball games plus much more.
